Four Ways to Play, Learn, and Grow

At WASA, we believe every player deserves the right environment to develop their love for soccer. That is why we offer four distinct programs that meet players where they are in their journey. Our recreational league, known simply as WASA, is the perfect place for kids to start learning the game, make friends, and enjoy playing in a relaxed, supportive setting. For those ready for more competition, FC Wheeling is our travel program that takes players to the next level with higher-level coaching, structured training, and matches against strong teams from across the region.

In addition to seasonal leagues, we offer our Youth Academy, a focused offseason training program that sharpens skills, builds confidence, and keeps players active year-round. Our Outreach program extends soccer into the community with events, personal training, and certification opportunities for coaches and referees. No matter the program, our goal is the same—help every player improve, stay active, and have fun along the way.

Registration Made Simple

Registering for WASA programs is quick and easy through our secure online system, giving every player a chance to join the team and get ready for the season.

Welcome to WASA Spring 2026 Soccer Season

We are now registering players for the Spring 2026 outdoor recreational WASA/FC Wheeling season. As of Jan 1st, we have switched over to the new GotSport platform for all player & team registration. Please read the information below for each one of our programs, find the correct birth date of your player(s), and then, be sure to click on that specific age group link to register for the spring season. All registration will close March 1st, 2026. You are not guaranteed a spot on a team for the spring season if you do not register by March 1st.

If you have any special requests, please submit them in writing to us at fcwheeling@gmail.com. Please note also that some age groups may close early due to maximum enrollment. Register early!

Since you are registering for the first time on this platform, you will need to set up your parent account, have a copy of your child’s birth certificate, and a head and shoulders photo to upload. The system works best from a computer rather than from a phone; Google Chrome is the most compatible search engine to use.

Each player will need a water bottle, shorts of your choice, shin guards, and soccer cleats are strongly recommended (no baseball or softball cleats). Team shirts will be provided to all players; you will be able to select your shirt size as part of the registration process. Ball sizes vary by age group – U13 to U15 – size 5; U9 to U12 – size 4; U8 and under – size 3.
